ddHIFI HS110SE Cradle Support Review – Most Stylish Mini Stand Out There
ddHIFI HS110SE is a super affordable 33 USD desktop stand for smartphones and music players, as well as for the Khadas Mind 1 Mini Pc, that we will review today. This is a completely passive, support product, but an important one nonetheless.

Introduction
ddHIFI is a very popular HiFi manufacturer from China specialized in the accessory and the entry-level range, but having products that are nice even for a high-end discerning user. The previous stand they made, namely the HS110 has been one of the most popular audiophile products I have ever reviewed, to the point where people from other hobbies ask me how to buy one and what the name is when they see it in my videos or photos. The only downside to the new SE version is that it only comes in black as I feel that people liked the silver color of the original.

Build Quality – Design
ddHIFI HS110SE is a very simple desktop stand, designed to be reliable, sturdy and stable. Ideally, it should have the heist load bearing possible but also be transportable and offer a good level of repairability. Theoretically, the bearings can support a resistance of 8 to 10 KGF-CM and the base can easily be removed or secured using a single screw.

Regardless of which orientation you see in my photos, you can actually reverse the base and the top as needed, as one is tighter and one is larger, between 46mm and 62mm. The wider one would work really well for tablets or larger devices, while the narrower one looks cleaner for phones and narrow devices that could slip in between the supports of the wider setting. You cannot use it laterally. One of the cooler things that this stand can do is that you can place your HIFI DAP while it is charging, and ddHIFI heavily advertises that you can use it with tablets, as the torque force is high and the support offered is strong.

Total weight of the HS110SE is 210 grams, and it has a total height of 140mm. Base has a length of 100mm and distance to the support from the base is 50mm. HS 110 SE is made of AL6063 aluminum alloy, and has silicone anti slip pads on the bottom base, as well as the support itself.
Subjective Usage – Quality
For this review I’ve used HS110SE for quite a while, and you will start seeing it as more reviews come live with me using it to support DACs, AMPs, Headphones and IEMs. It is better than the original HS 110, but the new SE version is less visible, and in return less pretty for most products as it is a nice stealthy product. I personally prefer the silver variant of the original, but I can agree that the weight support and balancing mechanism has improved greatly.

I am using one at home to balance and support the Khadas Mind 1 Mini PC, and also for tablets and phone on desk usage, while the other, as I have two, is used outdoors for taking photos you see in our reviews. DD HIFI HS110SE is quite important for me as a reviewer, but it is going to be useful for basically anyone who has a smartphone, tablet or a DAP.

I like how HS 110 SE can also support DAC AMPs like FX-Audio Tube-05, Khadas Mind 1 Minic PC and Khadas Mind Dock, FiiO BR15 R2R, xDuoo DP-10, Shanling M7T, iBasso D17 DAC AMP, Aune N7, UPerfect UColor O Lite, and many others. It is excellent and stable. I like it personally, and the fact you can reverse the support with the wider or the narrower part, it is versatile too.
Value and Conclusion
There is a slight difference between HS110SE and HS110, as the original costs 43 USD while the new version is both more stable, supports a heavier weight and it is 10 USD less, or 25% less expensive. I am in love with the quality and design of the new one, it is far more stable, better for tablets and heavy products, and you can configure it more so that it offers the support you need, but I preferred the silver color of the original and I hope ddHIFI makes a silver one to better match with all the DACs and AMPs it can support.

A true successor to the most popular HiFi support is born, with a different flavor and feeling and the new HS110SE is an excellent example of a job done well. It improves on everything that was even slightly lacking in the original and while I own countless such supports, including UGreen tablet and phone supports, I like ddHIFI’s HS110SE the most for its stability and size to usability ratio, it really is small and really does a lot.
