CanJam NYC New York City 2026 Review – In-Depth Coverage of The Largest USA Audiophile Event
CanJam is one of the largest audiophile and portable audio enthusiast events in the whole world, and today I will share with you my impressions as well as personal notes exploring the 2026 edition of the NYC CanJam, which took place at Marriott Marquis right in the center of the Times Square in New York.

Introduction
While it has been years since I’ve been active on Head-Fi, it continues to be one of the largest if not basically the largest forum dedicated to audio, music and headphones, as well as DACs, AMPs and everything audio related. I used to be such an avid user and commenter there that I wrote over 10.000 messages, and loved the work that went into it, but when I separated into creating reviews on my own website, and designed audiophile-heaven, my interests no longer aligned with posting those reviews on Head-Fi. This being said, the community there organizes CanJam Events which are basically huge audiophile meetups, like a Comic Con but for audiophiles. They happen in most big cities across the USA, Europe, Middle East, Asia and even Australia, and they’re often supported by a couple of key companies, offering local music enthusiasts a chance to hear the latest, and most interesting audio products that the world has to offer.

This event will be explored from my eyes, and will be my subjective experience and personal notes. This review and future reviews will keep reflecting my personal opinion on each product and I am an individual outlet with no affiliation with any company, instead relying on Amazon and Aliexpress for affiliate programs which help support our reviews website. If you enjoy my work, you can always donate using paypal. As with our other show coverages, I will explore the show chronologically, since that’s how photos are saved in my camera, what I saw at the event, what I experienced, how it sounded like, and what you can expect to see officially reviewed on Audiophile-Heaven in the future.
HIFIMAN
At the center of the show, with one of the largest tables, HIFIMAN brought all the goodies available in the USA, including the Shangri-La Senior and the two new models that the company launched. Those are called the Arya Wifi and HE1000 Wifi, models that completely outdone the expectations of the music lovers that dropped by the booth of the company to hear them. Besides the amazing sound, those do feel and sound like a properly driven pair of he1000 and arya, but a lot of folks got super excited about the new color scheme of the he1000 which is a deep brown with gold, and they also loved the ergonomics.

Dr. Fang, leader of HIFIMAN put in a lot of effort to balance those headphones, to keep them lightweight, and to embed inside of each cup the amplifier, wifi receiver, processors and amplifiers, along with the batteries, creating what can be considered the most advanced wireless headphones of today. Not only can they offer wifi, but also bluetooth and even wired listening. I can give you a quick impression before the full review, but he1000 wifi sounds better than he1000 unveiled does with most amplifiers, and it sounds exactly the same wifi as it does wired, pointing out to an extraordinary work from the HIFIMAN team to balance the sound and build of the new wifi headphones. As those wifi headphones are built with a driver similar to the unveiled series, you can expect a similar sound and feel, but with metallic grille protections as a wifi headphone will be more portable than a wired one. Overall, this CanJam I got to experience a number of new technologies, and nothing has been quite as impressive as the level of optimisation and sonic performance that hifiman can offer in a product that you can purchase today.

For HE1000 Wifi, the sonic signature is similar to a HE1000 Unveiled, but smoother, a bit more refined, and it feels better driven than anything I have powered the HE1000 with. The voltage / power gradient is different from what most sources offer and will saturate power before voltage, which makes He1000 Wifi sound exceptionally controlled, deep and powerful even at lower volumes.

Aune Audio
Aune Audio is an exemplary company when it comes to supporting their products and creating new, actually interesting products. This year will be rich for them as they just launched the new S18 Evo DAC, along with the incredible A17 Headphone Amplifier and AR9000 Headphones. The most surprising product at CanJam NYC has been Magnum, an interesting headphone amplifier that is designed to be transportable, but is actually quite large, uses Nutubes, and works wonderfully.

To be fair, Aune’s own headphones are not that hard to drive, so they don’t really require this much power, but Magnum and A17 would do wonders for HIFIMAN’s unveiled series of headphones as well as other very hard to drive headphones.

And then, there’s Magnum, likely the most impressive headphone amplifier we have seen this year at CanJam, this is a brick, but has far more driving power, control and much better sonic resolution that iFi iDSD BL which used to be a good choice for this type of shape. Aune is holding strong and likely will be a full winner in the upcoming years for audio, replacing many others in the hearts of music lovers. With AR9000 also on the way and almost final, Aune is right now one of the most promising companies for new audio products, competing with the biggest.

Beyerdynamic
While Sennheiser is slowly fading away and dying, Beyerdynamic might be making a comeback in the hearts of audiophiles, now with a couple of new models. This is actually quite welcome because DT1990 Pro has been one of the best headphones to purchase both for listening and for studio work, before Chifi entered the show, so it is nice to hear that Beyerdynamic has launched new headphones, showcased at the CanJam NYC. Among those, we have a new DT1990 Pro and a new DT990 PRO X headphone, both of which would be very interesting to review in the near future.

Beyerdynamic is an European company so it is curious that we have not explored more of their products, but for such a large company the marketing department is usually split among regions, so I will try my best to review the new headphones as I am sure they’d be very interesting for you.

Status Audio
In all honesty, I don’t know quite that much about Status Audio, but they were situated next to beyerdynamic so I decided to drop by and see what they’re working on, so voila, a new TWS Bluetooth pair of earphones, with an interesting 3-way inner design, 1DD + 2Ba drivers, and ANC as well.

Upon my short testing, the sound was quite nice, and the IEMs looked elegant and modern, so it will be interesting to review them in depth once we manage to secure a sample of those. A good highlight is that the company promises zero compromise, so in my full review I will pursue exploring how they achieve that.

T10Bespoke
I’ve been following T10Bespoke for a while now, and those are some intriguing bluetooth earphones too. The biggest thing you will notice with T10Bespoke is the price as those range from about 2000 USD to about 10.000 USD for the billionaire smoker edition that is a luxury package for smokers. This kind of earphone is made to be worn as a necklace, and it is a luxury fashion accessory, but more interesting is the fact that the sound is actually very good, tuned by Klipsch, but with additional customization so that it works best with your personal ears.

I believe that those T10 Bespoke IEMs have the highest number of eartips and customization options available on the market, so I am looking forward to exploring them in-depth as the sound was quite promising in the short listening session I got.

Spirit Torino
No CanJam or Audio event is complete without Spirit Torino, a company that designs beautiful headphones with intricate technologies in italy. The highlight of this year is the new Centauri 1706, a model with a lower weight and better comfort than previous Spirit Torino headphones, and a better bass depth, more treble sharpness and a generally more revealing sound.

While Spirit Torino still focuses on that sweeter, more analogic and personal sound, Centauri 1706 is right now the most versatile headphone that the company made with only Pulsar and Valkyria from Spirit Torino being as refined and interesting and still following the same tuning and sonic signature.

Grado
It has been fun speaking in person with Mr Grado, the owner of the Grado company, and this is mostly a family run business, with many of the people at the booth being close relatives. Quite intriguing is that Grado made a large number of new headphones, and for them the highlight is that the sound is now quite a bit warmer, smoother and not quite as bright as the older models which were known for a strong treble.

Whether this will define a whole new chapter for Grado, allowing them to reach new customers, or may be a bit too big of a chance for fans that have been there since day 1, is a thing we will explore in the coming year in our in-depth reviews, hopefully getting to explore all of the new grado headphones, as I really liked how the sound is now versatile and fun, reaching a much deeper bass and with better impact and control.

HFA – HIFI For All
I believe this year at CanJam I saw the highest number of headphones and products that I have not heard about before, and HFA Dahlia 2 is an interesting one with a huge chassis, outstanding comfort, and lightweight build, so much so that I am looking forward to seeing if it will be the most comfortable headphone of the year. While the sound was not quite finished yet, and there’s still a bit of extra tuning to be done, Dahlia 2 sounded quite natural – neutral with a strong punch, was extra comfy, and has a sound that works well for rock, metal as well as EDM and Pop.

I was quite impressed and this is a good contender in the upper mid range segment, but we will see when the final tuning is ready how it compares to the market.

Jcally
Quite an outlier, JCALLY is a Chifi company that is trying to launch themselves on the maret, but the price of their product is in the ultra entry-level range, so most of them are very basic dongle DAC adapters similar to what ddHIFI does. Sadly, the company does not have any product that would be a good fit for our review yet, but they promised that they are researching more and as more comes online we will review them.

I did test their Galaxy Sonata and it sounded pretty good, similar to a ddHIFI TC44Pro, but I will try to review their products as they become more widely available. Right now you can find them in stores at HIFIGO and surprisingly, I found them available on a local electronics shop named emag.

AUDMA
AUDMA is a unique company because I never heard of them, and they did pop up with a really interesting product. The Brioso PHPA1 is a headphone amplifier that is portable, and it integrates the ELISA circuit, which is a patented tech by AUDMA designed to significantly enhance the soundstage of a headphone or IEM. One trick that I saw this AMP doing that I have not seen ever before is that you can press on the adjustment wheels to pop them out, turn them, then press on them to pop them back into the device, so they stay hidden and there is zero chance of mis-pressing them.

While this seems like an instant favorite due to a new tech and it sounded brilliant, PHPA1 comes with a premium luxury flagship price tag that means I will be comparing it with all of the high-end amplifiers that I’ve reviewed so far. If it is meant to be, I would love to share my thoughts about the Maestro HPA1 with you, as that one might be the one AMP to rule all headphones, and would be great to experience with Susvara and LCD-5.

Dunu
Quite surprising, Dunu was present at CanJam despite me never seeing them at any High-End Society events. I miss the good old days when dunu was a reliable, easy to buy brand, because the sound is just as impressive as it was back when I started reviewing and I was exploring their flagship models. Nowadays though, I learned that most of their products exist in a constant state of “sold out”, but I am hopeful that they will manage to ramp up production to meet demand as I will be doing my best to review what is actually available from the company.

At CanJam I experienced their CD Player which a lot of people recommended me to try, and it was an instant favorite, and also I experienced a couple of their Over-The-Ear headphones including the Arashi and Mortise, both of which impressed me with the build quality, and the clarity of their sound. With a bit of luck, we should be reviewing Arashi, Mortise and the CD player, when the company manages to produce enough units.

Fosi Audio
Fosi Audio is slowly becoming a true force in the audio world, keeping prices low, performance high, and delivering outstanding products that you simply will keep enjoying. I am already working on reviewing and publishing my thoughts exploring all the new products the company has, but at CanJam they debuted something new, a portable DAC AMP with a display on the back, which sounded quite wide and holographic, and a bit warm, designed for gaming and portability, and a big mixer, also designed for desktop gaming usage.

Pentode Driven GR70 is still a star and while I just published my full review exploring this AMP, it is a unique choice, as no other company debuted a pentonde based headphone amp at CanJam as far as I am aware.

Eletech
Eletech and their mythology based cables are always nice to see, and while we did review the inferno, the company has a couple of new models debuting and being promoted at canJam NYC, including the Cassiel and others.

I managed to play a bit with their cables, indulging in the smooth, rich sound they produce, but I will have to be at home and do a proper test to really appreciate the finer nuances that a cable has when implemented with a pair of earphones.

Lily Audio
We are the first official outlet to have reviewed the Lily Audio Genesis One Headphones, and I loved what I heard, but now those headphones are out of prototype variants and in full producing so we will likely revisit them with a full unit once the company has finalized all details such as the package, cables and the final tuning. From what I heard, they are a bit easier to drive and the impedance in the final product might be a bit lower, which would be welcome because Genesis One has been the hardest to drive pair of headphones that I ever tested.

I did not notice a big change in sound compared to my review of the Genesis One prototypes, but I did not have the prototype with me to compare directly.

Ice Lab
Ice Lab Spectrumica is currently one of the most popular earphones in the enthusiasts circles, but this time around I got to hear all their iems, and both Prismatica and Spectrumica are amazing, I can’t wait to add them to our review rooster as I feel they would trade blows with Campfire and other established companies, especially given the super nice build quality and very detailed sound that they have.

Bass depth and impact was also excellent, so I hope you are ready for us to hopefully explore both Spectrumica and Prismatica in the following weeks / months.

LAD – Layer Audio Design
While I have not heard about this company before, they were super open and friendly, and shared with me that the whole LAD company project is done out of passion. At first I did not quite understand what that means, but after a couple more words, I found out that they create a speaker amplifier based on 300B lamps, with a price tag of 899 USD. This is going to break the market when it goes live, because no one so far managed to create such an affordable solution for powering both speaekrs and headphones.

Sonically, it was insanely good at driving a HIFIMAN Susvara, the official benchmark. In fact, they had both a susvara and a HD800 pair of headphones, both their personal headphones, and the type of quality and control they got from this AMP is out of this world. Just think about this, for 899 USD, you get a 16 KG Headphnoe and Speaker amplifier based on 300B tubes, this kind of tech usually goes for 5K and above prices. And this is an USA-Based company, so I am most enthusiastic to hear this AMP in my home setup, maybe even driving my main Pylon audio Speakers.

Campfire Audio
I will be honest, Campfire is the biggest tease in the whole world. I literally use the best flagship I have every day and every single year they come with a new Trifecta IEM that sounds simply sublime. While I can’t quite put my finger on it, Trifecta has a combination of extreme resolution, depth and clarity that is simply unique. This being said, happily this year we will be reviewing the new Andromeda, yet I really wish we could have one of those trifecta units to listen to, as they might challenge the Cadenza 12 I am using on a daily basis at the gym.

From what I can gather each Trifecta version is a slight re-tweaking and re-engineering of the old ones, because the ones I tested at Munich last year were a bit brighter, while the crimson version you see in our photos are quite a bit bassier and fuller sounding.

SJY AudIo
I am excited about the new SJY Zeph as well as the closed back version of the Horizon, as SJY is an interesting company, making headphones that sound far better than their price point would indicate, although right now Zeph is sold out on their website, so I suppose that I wasn’t the only one who heard it at CanJam and was impressed.

A company from Huston, Texas, SJY Audio has just a couple of models but they are all popular and this is a company that has proven that you can challenge the big boys and still come up a winner, Horizon having been one of the most popular headphones of the previous year, and Zeph being a model that impressed me with their speed, accuracy and detailed sund at CanJam NYC.

ETA Audio Uli
ETA Audio is a company that designed a completely new pair of headphones, Uli. This is most likely the largest headphone I have heard and seen at CanJam NYC, and while it looks impressive, it sounds even more impressive. This is a true flagship model with a smoother and warmer sound, as well as ETA Audio’s 8th generation driver, with exotic magnetic alloys based on AlNiCo.

While this model is in pre-order I can’t wait to review them because they might be the widest, most holographic pair of headphones available right now, if my notes are correct.

Sivga Audio
Sivga and Sendy Audio are working on multiple headphones, but right now the hot one is Sendy Audio Egret. This is an impressive model with a solid build, very similar to the Peacock, but with a far deeper bass, better extension, less vocal, and more natural sound.

I am already working on a full in-depth written review, so it is no surprise that I know a bit more about it than other headphones, but I can give you a quick tip that it is relatively easy to drive, fun to listen to, has a warmer, smoother and darker sound than the Peacock, and it is far easier to enjoy. A new Full Desktop DAC AMP named Kylin is coming and I am really excited to review it as a full desktop DAC AMP from Sendy and Sivga is always going to make my day interesting.

FlipEars
I have always been curious to hear Flip Ears Earphones, but physically being in Romania I never had the chance to try them before. This is one of the friendliest companies when it comes to presenting their products and I spent a lot of time trying theory models, with the Arion and Aisha Eelctri being equally impressive but for very different reasons. It feels like those are some of the most underrated IEMs out there, but this year I want to do my best to review both models, as well as others the company may be working on.

Although I was most impressed by the Arion and Artha, it feels like Legion is excellent too, for having a revealing, but natural sound. Each IEM from their range has a different tuning and sound, so you’d have to try each one of them to really understand which best suits your taste.

Dan Clark
Visiting the booth of Dan Clark feels like visiting an old friend, now Dan Clark is mostly a family run business, with the E3, and Stealth models being the hot products still. It is interesting that Dan Clark as a company does not need to launch anything new, to still be one of the most popular companies at an event as I had to wait for ages to find a moment to listen to those models and freshen up my memory of how they sounded like.

I am looking forward to formally reviewing Stealth and E3, as both models always impress me when I hear the, but stock is limited and for most of the year, those are sold on a pre-purchase, so if the Dan Clark company will have a better time producing enough headphones, we will most definitely explore both Stealth and E3. Somehow I felt much in sync with Dan Clark and their arrangement as they are using Luxsin X9, the very same DAC AMP that I use right now while writing this review.

JVC
To be fair, I always thought that JVC was just an automotive audio designer, and a casual manufacturer, so I was surprised to hear some of their products and to find out that they sound excellent.

They are coming with new bluetooth earphones, as well as portable speakers and if you’ve been reading audiophile-heaven you likely know that I have quite a couple of those for parties or just having music playing in my home.

Astell & Kern
The big Korean conglomerate Astell & Kern is still producing DAPs, and their latest toy that I heard at CanJam is the PD20, an experience slightly different from the standard AK sound, smoother, warmer and more enthusiastic, although availability is still in question.

It has been almost 2 years since we’ve reviewed DAPs from Astell & Kern and by now iBasso, Lotoo and FiiO have advanced considerably in terms of software and hardware, so it will be interesting to see what AK has been cooking, and if they will be a match for the flagships of the competition.

FiiO
One of the most popular audio manufacturers, FiiO and their sub brand Jade Audio has so many new products showcased that I don’t even know where to start. From mini DAC AMPs, to desktop DAC AMPs to new DAPs, I think that what surprised me the most is their latest flagship music player, M27 as well as M33. Those are some next-level performance DAPs with exceptionally powerful amplifiers inside, and a nice ergonomic design.

We should be reviewing most products that FiiO designs, provided they are present on all markets, Romanian, European, International, making efforts to stay relevant and keeping their prices cutting-edge for customers to enjoy good audio without breaking the bank.

Ecoute
While at first I felt like Ecoute was a novel company, they managed to design a 2nd version of their TH1 headphones, now called TH2. This is a better experience with multiple layers of EQ and profiling to produce the best sound possible, starting and still focusing on the ideea of having a NuTube embedded in the headphones.

Quite interesting, new efforts have been applied to reduce handling and tube microphonic noise, to better isolate the tube from interference, to increase the volume of the headphones, and to my ears they sound more V-Shaped, have a higher dynamic range and more bite, but we will see in detail once the final version is live.

Nostalgia Audio
Another company that really surprised me in terms of sound and build quality is Nostalgia Audio. This is my first experience with them, but the raw emotion, impact and resolution of their Pendragon IEMs is absolutely insane. This would be in top 3 IEMs that I heard at CanJam NYC and the artwork on the shells only completes an amazing pair of earphones that I am looking forward to exploring in person.

With Nostalgia Audio I liked that I have not felt rushed, I actually spent so much time there, it was amazing, as I got to hear multiple IEMs that they produce, and I can totally say that they each have their unique tuning, and from the cable to the shells to the soul that the company puts into their products, this will be an excellent one to consider for your next purchase, once we review them and manage to share which sounds in what direction.

Faith Audio Labs
Like meeting a dear friend, Faith Audio labs is an impressive company when it comes to sound, and they have just two models, E1000 and U1000, both of which are amazing. In fact, I am already working on my review exploring E1000, but what is best about those IEMs is that they want to produce IEMS that act as little listening chambers. At CanJam they sounded very wide, controlled, sharp and precise.

Comfort is also top, and the build quality is excellent, but the package is also a high point for Faith Audio. Although the name Faith Audio is not supposed to indicate any faith in particular beyond faith in audio, I was delighted with the exposition where the company had like a mini church where they place their IEMS.

Technics
While the Technics brand is a well-established brand that was ultra popular in the past, they are also a big sponsor for the CanJam events, so for me it was very interesting to see some of their new products in person. The company now has headphones, turntables, TWS Earphones and it all looks really nice.

Although I only got to hear their TWS Earphones, I can confirm a warm, bloomy sound with a smoother treble and an exceptional comfort.

Melodic Artification
I didn’t even know before that this company existed, but when checking out new and interesting products, I saw that there’s a company that has humidity meters on the boxes, and I knew I had to check them out. Melodic Artification is a boutique manufacturer that has some uber flagship headphones, which I could not really find the name of. I did have a listen and I was not just impressed but blown away by the quality, to the point where I think that they might challenge flagships like DCA Dan Clark Audio Expanse, Audeze LCD-5 or HIFIMAN Susvara.

This being said, my time was too short, and the crowd too noisy, plus Melodic Artification does bundle those headphones with their own amplifier, but still, it is very rare that a first impression would make me think that I found a true end-game flagship pair of headphones. Melodic Artification already has one pair of IEMs on the market, which is a multi driver, 9-Driver total flagship earphone, named Alter Ego, but I mainly spent time with their headphones, looking to explore the sound and performance of them. I promise to do my best to review both since we might have a new flagship designer that will stand in the same hall as the big guys.

Dark Matter Audio Labs
Mr Sam and Dekoni Audio surely have something special in te Dark Matter Audio Labs as the company has multiple interesting IEMS. I personally have loved the performance and experience of the flagship DMA8 which has the most bass, and most treble, offering an exceptional impact, but DMA7 and DMA6 were also great if you wanted a smoother, more musical sound. While Dark Matter is generally trying to make custom IEMS, it would still be great to consider the universal options if you’d ever want to share your earphones with someone you love.

I hope to dive deeper into the sound and build quality of the Dark Matter earphones soon, as those would be promising for both music listeners but also artists and performers.

Volk Audio
This is likely the first time I formally hear a pair of earphones from Volk Audio and explore how their Etoile sounds like, but this is a company designed by Mr. Jack Vang, and their Etoile, the IEMS that is the frontrunner for CanJam NYC is a 10-driver quadbrid which surprised me immediately.

A unique combination of a V-Shaped tuning that I enjoy in general with incredible resolution and superb comfort made Etoile stand out for my at CanJam. I am hoping to review the Etoile and hopefully the Stella too, as those are some of the most interesting IEMS I heard. This being said, Stella is mainly sold by Astell & Kern, while Etoille is sold by Volk Audio directly, as well as their distributors.

Mass Kobo
Straight from Japan, we have Mass Kono, and their Model 465, one of the very few amplieirs for headphones I’ve heard which can actually put bass into Susvaras and give them proper control. Nothing I have so far has quite the same control and power deliver that I heard from Model 465, so this would be super nice to spend more time with in person.

All of this being said, the retro design also has a unique charm, and combined with the detailed, revealing tuing, makes you feel like a kid re-discovering audio and music from square one.

Head(Amame)
Head(Amame) Pro is designed by the team behind Capra Audio, and while I was not expecting to see a word that I would understand in the USA from my native lagnauge, Capra means Goat in Latin based langauges including Latin, Romanian and Italian. Funny thing is that the company not only knew this, but as Capra is a broad term that can apply to both goats and ibex class animals, they call themselves the GOAT, which is a nice play of words in english too.

This is a pair of headphones with an interesting sound, quite unique, a bit more intimate and personal, with a delightfully rich and thick sounding midrange. From what I understand, the tuning will soon be final and I will be looking forward to share more thoughts as my initial ones were that this is going to be a romantic, smoother, darker sounding headpohone.

Crinear
While it may seem strange to see a reviewer reviewing a product made by anther reviewer, I actually did review most Crin x 7Hz IEMS so far, and this time we got to hang out a bit and basically share our thoughts and feelings about this hobby.

Crin has a new pair of IEMS named Reference coming along, which sounded really flat, with zero coloration, studio-grade resolution, and not euphonic in any way. This would be a flatline pair of earphones that will reveal everything the way it is. On the bright side, they do sound bright, are comfortable and have the same top quality we’re used to.

Dana Cable and Danatone
Dana Cable and their Lazuli series of cables are a sight to behold, as they are a series of heavy, thick cables made for sonic quality. At the show Lazuli was powering a HIFIMAN Susvara, but this amplifier has quite a lot of power.

I would have to hear the Lazuli series of cables in person at home before committing to an opinion on their signature and overall performance, because a lot of the smoother, more fluid sound I heard could also be the Head Space Amplifier.

Letshuoer
While all companies have good and awesome products, I had a blast spending time at the Letshuoer booth as they have their Sonata and Ember IEMs, but we cannot forget that I use Cadenza 12 on a daily basis. This is nost just a marketing bit, and Cadenza 12 together with FiiO UTWS5 2025 are my daily setup for gym, the partners I had for the longest time and the earphones that I enjoy the most for my workouts.

Not only this, but Letshuoer also had an iBasso D16 DAP at their booth and Sonata sounds incredibly detailed, crisp, and might even be an upgrade, or alternative sonic path from Cadenza 12 2025. It is always great when a company brings good vibes and the booth of Letshuoer was one of the happiest, most hyped places to be sitting at in the CanJam NYC.

Hidden Gems and Outliers
Although the company did not have an official booth at the show, iBasso DAPs and DAC AMPs were present as the favorite choice of the actual engineers and people working for certain companies. Just browsing thorough my own photos I can spot at least 2 iBasso D16, and one DX320 MAX Ti, everyone thanking us for our review which made them pull the trigger.

Lotoo is also still present even in absence, as I could see a couple of Mjolnir DAC AMPs being used to drive both IEMs and Headphones, although to be fair, one of the central ones was with Spirit torino and they are a distributor in Europe. Still, this is a nice DAC AMP that can drive all headphones and IEMs with ease and has a very low noise too.

New York City
USA and NYC in particular are the type of places where listening to music in headphones and IEMs make a lot of sense because a large city like NYC is super busy at all times, traffic noise, lots of people, so I think that everyone who came here likely appreciates a bit of peace and music.

You may notice that there are so many TWS and Bluetooth earphones in this review, and that a lot of them come with ANC, but as more life is focused in large cities, noise is more of an issue, so always take care and appreciate the bits of silence you have, as well as where you are right now, regardless where that may be.

This experience made me realise that maybe I am not exactly cut for large cities as I found it quite fatiguing, and it took me around 2 weeks to really rest and recover, but all in all, it has been super exciting and fun.

Conclusion
While I am not entirely sure if we will be attending Vienna High-End this year, due to rising costs of everything that because we have to renovate some parts of our studio, I am grateful to everyone reading our reviews, to everyone who has came to greet me at CanJam NYC, Head-Fi team for organizing those events, and naturally for the sponsor of the show for allowing those to happen.

Most importantly, thank you Mark and the HIFIMAN Team for inviting me to come to the event, as I have skipped all CanJam events, but I wouldn’t have known how much fun a headphone / IEM only event could be if I didn’t come.

We listened to more songs than those named in this playlist, but those are excellent for identifying a sonic signature. I recommend trying most of the songs from this playlist, especially if you’re searching for new music!
