Noble FoKus Amadeus TWS Bluetooth IEMs Review – Way Of The Red Explosion Thunder

Noble FoKus Amadeus is a $320 USD pair of high-end IEMS with a 8.3mm custom triple-layer diaphragm, aptX Adaptive and LKDAC support, and up to 12 hours of battery life for the earbuds. Today we review the Noble FoKus Amadeus and also briefly compare them to the market, with a focus on their sound and usage.

Introduction

Noble is one of the most popular IEM manufacturers with a rich history of popular models, so I am really happy to be able to explore their products with the help of Jacrabbit from the UK. Today we explore a bluetooth pair of IEMs with a bold red color, and metallic transport case.

Build Quality – Aesthetics

When reading the technical data and marketing materials for the Amadeus we can find that the company wanted to blend classical elements with contemporary engineering. This pair of IEMs are built around a newly developed 8.3mm triple-layer dynamic driver, crafted for a strong bass and extended treble. To add some spice to the mix, Noble uses Bluetooth 5.4, powered by the Qualcomm QCC3091 Chipsed, and with support for SBC, AAC, aptX Adaptive and LDAC, it should work well with all modern smartphones, even midrange models.

Noble Amadeus uses TrueWireless Mirroring and multi-point pairing with touch-sensitive controls. It has dual microphones with cVc noise cancelling for the best call quality. It has up to 12 hours of battery life with ANC turned off, and up to 8 hours of battery life with ANC turned on or with Ambient mode turned on.

Key specs include the 8.3mm dynamic driver, a SPL of 113 dB, and an impedance of 37 OHMs. Combined with 2 and a half charges stored by the transport case, those should survive around 5 days of usage with about 3 hours of usage per day combined, which is a likely scenario for most users. They even have a quick charge that gives you 2 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging, and Amadeus charges the earpieces in 90 minutes, whole case in 120 minutes.

Fit – Subjective Usage

Starting with the ANC and Ambient mode, ANC is quite weak, it does not isolate noise much more than leaving it turned off, and it seems to affect the sound a bit. Ambient mode has quite a bit of self noise and hissing, but it is excellent at amplifying the audio signal with your music, amplifying ambient noise, and it makes it super easy to speak with someone while you’re wearing the Amadeus. There is a key drawback though, if you have longer hair like me, hair brushing against the earpieces is amplified far louder than any noise, which can be uncomfortable to hear.

Comfort is generally excellent, case quality is very good, as this is a sturdy case with a metallic top and polycarbonate bottom, type-c port, while the shells have an ergonomic shape, are not too large, and feel just right inside of my ears. I prefer the sound with ANC turned off, Ambient turned off. At this default state, Noble Amadeus offers around 10 dB of passive noise isolation, but you will likely listen medium or loud, a situation in which the proximity of the IEMS to your eardrum will be more than enough to isolate noise. You can use eartips that offer an improved seal factor like ddHifi ST-35 for an improved passive noise isolation and seal.

I found zero problems with the connection, it is reliable, no disconnects and no bugs, but I have not used the EQ apps like audiodo that noble sports with their Amadeus.

Sound Quality

Pairings – You should explore my in-depth review exploring Bluetooth protocols, as I try to explore there how to get the most out of your BT IEMS, but basically Samsung and Asus smartphones have the best BT sound, and I am using an S24 Ultra to drive the Amadeus, although I found that using my brother’s midrange Samsung phone has just as good of a sonic quality for bluetooth. Noble Fokus amadeus is as sensitive to the source quality as all TWS Bluetooth IEMS that I reviewed to date.

Overall Signature – Noble went for a V-Shaped signature with their Fokus Amadeus, it is a deep, punchy, vivid and engaging pair of IEMS that works really well for modern, contemporary music, tons of bass, strong sub-bass extension, a strong boom, and a sharp, crisp treble with a strong shimmer and sparkle up in the top. Although soundstage size is natural – tight, instrument separation is strong, resulting in a technically revealing sound with a high resolution, the whole signature being more of a studio sound with V-Shaped tuning rather than softer audiophile musical sound. This is similar to the Noble Fokus apollo which is one of the headphones with the best bass that I’ve heard in the bluetooth range.

Bass – Starting from the bottom-end, Noble Fokus Amadeus has a really strong bass, tons of low-end reach down to 20 Hz, with a thunderous explosive presentation, outstanding impact and reach, and a highly dynamic signature as a result. This is the kind of bass that you hear in high-end clubs, it has strength but also speed, a strong thump, natural-fast body, high resolution but it is always there when the song calls for it, like in pop music. The bass is perfect for EDM, Dubstep and commercial music, up to rock and metal.

Midrange – With a recessed midrange, Noble Fokus Amadeus gives way to a sharper, more present upper midrange and deep lower midrange with a strong dip right in the middle, sucking out voices a bit, and bringing them farther away from the listener. This creates a super pleasing sound for EDM, Dubstep that gives it a vivid, punchy, colorful tuning. Works equally well for guitar solos, but makes male and female voices in sound too recessed and a bit nasal, sucked out. Overall, the more electronic – instrumental the song is, the better it sounds with the Noble Fokus Amadeus, it is just perfect for the gym.

Treble – A sharp, airy treble with a strong and vivid punchy, peaking range in the 14 kHz – 16 kHz makes the Noble Fokus Amadeus sound airy, shimmery and bright in the high-end. This is a fairly controlled treble that reveals details, but adds to how aggressive Noble Fokus Amadeus sounds, it gives it edge and life, perfect for live music, rock, EDM, Pop and Dubstep. It is quite literally the ideal gym IEM and V-Shaped tuning if you want a high-quality treble that does not roll off audibly.

Dynamic Range And Textures – Dynamic range is a bit on the compressed side, which is to be expected both from a Bluetooth IEM and from a V-Shaped signature, and Noble Fokus Amadues brings forward all details that are usually in the background, it gives details and micro bits of information a higher volume, and it blunts the volume of central song elements, giving it a far more revealing and more detailed sound than you’d expect. Textures are super vivid, detailed, the driver is fast, but not grainy, and it has a heavy weight for each musical note which keeps it natural and fun instead of analytical.

Loudness Saturation Gradient – Noble Fokus amadues has the same sonic signature, same tuning and resolution at all volume levels, with excellent control even at max or min volumes, but maximum volume is about 105 dB at max. For a mini TWS IEM, it is better to limit the maximum than allow it to go into distortion, so I like this approach, and 105 dB is enough for most people, including going to the gym. I prefer the sound loud close to maximum as that’s where the most balanced presentation can be found, where the bass gives the most backbone to the song, where you hear most detail and clarity for music, and although at maximum volume the dynamic range is most compressed, that is where the peak performance of the Noble Fokus Amadeus resides.

Soundstage – For an intimate soundstage, Noble Fokus Amadeus has a rather strong instrument separation, it sounds quite studio-like with a highly revealing sound. Strong imaging, layering and separation keeps the sound fun, but it is not a wide sounding pair of IEMs, instead the strong bass and sharp treble being contained within a very well defined space, and each instrument playing in its own field with precision.

Value and Conclusion

The current price tag of 320 USD is quite fair for the performance of the Amadeus, they have a good connection, long battery life and ergonomic fit, perfect for gym and casual usage. Although I would argue I am used to a more detailed sound, my daily Bluetooth driver is a FiiO UTWS5 2025 + Letshuoer Cadenza 12 2025, a combo that is over 2000 USD in cost, while Amadeus offers more than 90% of that performance for less than 16% of the price, so it is a really good option if you want a more budget TWS Bluetooth pair of earphones, but don’t want to sacrifice bass extension or treble sparkle.

At the end of the day, there are many ways to enjoy hifi and pro audio, but Noble made sure that you can do so wirelessly, with their Amadeus being a downright excellent pair of IEMS with a superb build quality, comfortable fit, and a V-Shaped, engaging, vivid and punchy sound that gets more interesting the louder you go, Noble Fokus Amadeus is a fully recommended purchase in our audiophile-heaven review today.

We listened to more songs than those named in this playlist, but those are excellent for identifying a sonic signature.  I recommend trying most of the songs from this playlist, especially if you’re searching for new music! The playlists are different for Spotify, Tidal and Youtube, and based on the songs I enjoy and are available on each!
